HOLLYWOOD, CA - Andrew Divoff, who has carved his career from playing an impressively wide array of character roles on both film and television, has signed on with the prestigious Meridian Artists Agency. Talent agent Jay Michael Bloom of Meridian Artists Agency will by joined Marilyn Black of the Rustic Management Group to form Divoff's team of representatives in all future career endeavors.
Andrew Divoff's acting career has been a study in diversity. He first came to the prominence as Cherry Ganz, the tear-drop bandit in the box office hit "Another 48 Hours," and has parlayed his screen success into other roles such as Blackbeard in "Magic Island, " the suave gangster Mendoza in "A Low Down Dirty Shame," a fighter pilot hero in "Interceptor," a Russian terrorist in "Air Force One" and his most infamous role as the disarmingly wicked Nathaniel Demerest/The Djinn in both "The Wishmaster" and "Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies". Divoff's chameleon-like ability to emulate the different accents which have been showcased in many films comes partly from his fluency in nine distinct languages.
